This podcast is brought to you with the help of Seven Investment Management, a firm of investment managers based in London. They specialise in multi-asset investing, bringing institutional investing techniques to ordinary people like you and me. 7IM put their name to my show and to my site because they believe in what I’m doing, trying to get decent, easy-to-understand financial information out to the world. I’m very grateful to them for their support.

Double Income, No Kids
Excellent feedback from last week where we covered the financial issues facing you when you’re young, free and single. So what’s next? Well, for many of us, there comes a time when our lives become entwined with another person. As you start to plan your lives together, your finances also become linked to a greater degree or other, and this brings challenges and opportunities unique to this life stage
Even though I’ve called this session DINKYs, with a ‘Y’ for no kids YET, I originally had it as just double income no kids. But let’s face it lots of couples decide not to have kids, or never have them for other reasons, and this session will be relevant those who never have children, as well as to those who plan to, but aren’t there yet.
