MMP300 – Happy New Year! A Listener Q&A with Kate & Pete Matthew

January 2, 2019
Yes, Happy New Year and welcome to the 300th episode of MeaningfulMoney. Can that really be true? Episode number 1 was in November 2012, just over six years ago. We’ve come some way since then, and there’s lots still to come! Today I want to give you a heads-up on that a bit later, but not before my 15yo daughter Kate takes over for a bit…
Plus, there’s news on what’s to come in 2019 – skip to 42 minutes in for that!

Happy New Year 2019!

So, a New Year stretches ahead of us. New opportunities, new challenges. While I’m not a fan of resolutions per se, I do like to take some time at the start of a new year to think about the year ahead, and what I’d like it to produce in lots of different areas of my life: Relationships, Finance, Work – all that stuff.

This year I’m planning to be more mindful in lots of areas. My usual word is intentional, that is, not doing stuff by default or because I’ve always done them, but mindfully, with forethought and good planning.
