Losing A Partner
Today we need to talk about the implications of the death of a partner. In the natural order of things, this should come late in life, but it’s a sad fact of life that this isn’t always the case. Losing your life partner is obviously a deeply traumatic event, but it can be worsened by financial worries, particularly if, until that point, you haven’t been the one with day-to-day control over the family finances.
So I want to look at the implications of this event, and as always, look at what you need to KNOW, followed by what you need to DO.
