Everything You Need To KNOW- You should have these things done.
- A clear understanding of your spending.
- What income is coming in and when.
- DC pensions should be known and if possible, consolidated.
- All other, non-pension investments, collected together and simplified to the extent that you are comfortable.
- Decide how involved we want to be in terms of ongoing investment management.
- Moved the first couple of years’ spending needs into cash.
- Switch from saving to spending.
- Investing should be different in retirement.
Everything You Need To DO- Work out your tax position for the first five years.
- Make sure the cash is in the right place.
- Take a view on income vs capital withdrawal.
- Build a cashflow ladder.
