November 30, 2022

Today we’re going to talk about Strategies For avoiding scams. It’s a pretty messed up world out there and scams seem to continue to proliferate and that’s why so many people hesitate to do online banking, or invest in anything other than their high street bank. So let’s try and help you spot the bad guys and keep yourselves, your data and your money safe.

Everything you need to KNOW

  1. Scams come in all kinds of shapes and sizes and vectors
  2. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is
  3. Safety comes from recognisable names and government protection
  4. Opportunity comes from understanding what you’re investing into

Everything you need to DO

  1. Know who holds your money
  2. Beware investing in anything where someone is being paid for distribution
