I’ve long been a lurker in the UK Personal Finance Subreddit – there are some really excellent, super-helpful people in there. They’ve also kindly included Meaningful Money in their list of resources.
One of the key resources that they put out is the UK Personal Finance Flowchart, which is a masterwork, it really is. It’s basically a do this, then that operating system for your personal finances, I really like it.
So I’d like to make that the kind of roadmap for this season. We’ll cover a section of the flowchart in each episode and expand upon it, adding some detail.

This is where the UKPF Flowchart ends. Makes sense – I imagine most in the group are accumulating and not retired, but I might have that completely wrong. In fairness, the flowchart deals with the things that the majority of people need help with. Usually by the time people are retiring, they have a handle on the basics.
Problem is, things get complicated in retirement, so we’re going to carry on…
At the end of the season we’d like to tie things off with a Q&A session, answering the key questions that you ask throughout. hello@meaningfulmoney.tv SUBJECT LINE: Season 25 Question or similar. We’ll sort them and try to answer as many as we can, but likely we’ll pull out themes and deal with them. If the outline we’ve gone over today raises any questions, get them in now – we can also answer them as we go along. If we get tons of Qs we can always do two Q&A sessions.
