Three main changes

1. New website coming soon

I'm hopeful that the new site will be up in a couple of weeks' time. It's a massive task though and requires going through several hundred posts to recategorise them. I want to make it easier for folks to find the content most applicable to them.

In the podcast I promised a sneak preview of the new homepage:

Hopefully you can see that it'll be easier to find the content applicable to the four main financial lifestages…

2. Broader Reach

This is going to be tricky, but I want to broaden my reach outside the UK. I have always been very specific about how to go about things from a UK perspective. There is always a danger that, in the pursuit of a broader reach, I end up being so non-specific that no-one is helped. I'm determined not to let that happen, but do want to focus more on the general principles of personal finance and less on the minutiae.

It'll be a fine line to walk – watch this space…

3. Podcast Seasons

With 162 sessions of the podcast, there's a lot of in-depth information here. while initially it was easy to follow a logical path, as the sessions have racked up, the subject matter has become increasingly fractured.

So I plan to adopt a seasons approach for the show, covering a subject in-depth over a few weeks. Between seasons, I'll take the chance to address some one-off subjects. In the meantime, any other topics which occur to me that don't easily fit into the podcast season format will be dealt with either on video, in a written post or in a bite-size podcast between season shows.

And that's it, really. I remain 100% committed to the podcast and everything else MM stands for. There are further developments in the pipeline which I can't wait to share with you later this year.
