S7E10: Life Stages – Listener Q&A
Over the past ten weeks, we’ve looked at the different life stages from young, free and single, to Losing a partner in later life. Today I want to round off the season by ticking off a couple of points, and then answering some of the questions you have sent in over the past few weeks.
This podcast is brought to you with the help of Seven Investment Management, a firm of investment managers based in London. They specialise in multi-asset investing, bringing institutional investing techniques to ordinary people like you and me. 7IM put their name to my show and to my site because they believe in what I’m doing, trying to get decent, easy-to-understand financial information out to the world. I’m very grateful to them for their support.
You can see what they’re up to at 7im.co.uk
Yes, life is a mixed bag, for sure. No-one’s path is straightforward through life, but has many twists and turns. I’ve talked about the young family life stage, but what if kids never happen for you, either by choice or by the twist of fate. And what happen if you’re old, free and single, because you never found the special someone or because of relationship breakdown.
Clearly I can cover every possible eventuality, otherwise, I’d be doing very short and focussed podcasts with titles like Life Stages 142: Middle-aged, one child, estranged wife, and a limp.
But there just a couple of things to mention as we round things off here.
As a quick aside, if you want to help me spread the word about the MeaningfulMoney book when it arrives early next year, I can keep you informed if you click this link and add your name and email address to the form there – thanks so much!
